System solution for Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)
Because of its modular construction this machine provides you with the opportunity to choose between a fully automated production line for large volumes, or a stand-alone welding machine for smaller volumes. Depending on the level of automation required with this machine, e.g. pre-working metal, bending, welding and clinching is also possible. We guarantee uniform product quality, reliable production processes and high output levels.
Fully automated production line concept
The complete cage is manufactured using the fully automated production line concept. The complete system solution consists of the following process stages:
The preparation of tubes (1)
Welding the tubes into grids (2)
Bending the grids into a cage (3)
Finally the tube ends that are pressed into each other, are clinched to form a permanent joint (4)
Stand-alone welding machine
The stand-alone welding machine has been developed for smaller production volumes and low-cost production. The previously prepared tubes are placed into one of the welding jigs and the joint is welded using a spot welding robot. Efficiency is raised by having two jig positions on the turntable. This means that two processes can run simultaneously: Loading and removing by the operator, and the welding carried out by the robot.
