System Integration – the AWL business model
This means that we aim at the development, engineering, machine build and integration of the ‘product’ jig and the Plug & Play delivery of the complete machine. Most of the components in our machines are manufactured by our suppliers.
System Integration and Supplier partnership
Our greatest strength lies in our ability to fully concentrate on the integration of the various components: How should they be controlled and how they communicate with each other? Integration involves three main disciplines: Electronics, mechanics and control technologies. These are the crucial elements for performance and reliability in machine construction.
The machine parts originate from suppliers including, ABB, Fanuc, Motoman, Siemens, Fronius, SKS, Festo and Albany. Each one of these suppliers dedicates their entire organisation to the development of the particular machine parts or components that are supplied to us.
AWL’s independence
AWL closely co-operates with all the various suppliers, but is not connected to any single manufacturer and is therefore brand-independent.
All our welding machines are top quality because of the levels of co-operation we have with our suppliers and the fact that together we can thoroughly test these models beforehand. The needs and wants of each customer are unique – therefore we can make the system match them perfectly.
Short turnaround times
Substantially shorter turnaround times are possible through using machine components. The ultimate delivery time is determined mainly by efficient production logistics and relatively simple assembly. Commissioning machines does not take long because the machines are initially constructed at AWL locations.
