AWL-Techniek, located in the Netherlands and NuTech Engineering, located in Canada have joined forces to create the Global Program Partnership a seamless, transatlantic capability for automated process know-how, system and tooling design-build and after sales service. This partnership has been created to serve customers that need to manufacture quality products globally using the most productive technologies, proven engineering concepts and effective, local service support.
NuTech and AWL are no strangers to each other having partnered on their first transatlantic program in 2001. Together they secured an order of over 25 robotic welding cells and 50 welding fixtures for an automotive seating program, a contract that neither company could have secured on their own due to the North American and European production requirements. By combining the strengths of both companies and utilizing their versatility and flexibility the program was completed to the end-customer’s total satisfaction.
Since that time AWL and NuTech have maintained their cooperation sharing the lessons learned to provide continued benefits for their customers as well as their own business. Today they are formalizing this strategic alliance to provide a more effective partnership to serve the automotive as well as other metal fabricating industries.
