Festo and AWL are a clear organizational fit!

Festo is one of our key suppliers! Twenty years ago pneumatics was not a mature standard at AWL. At that time we started searching for a supplier who manufactured a complete range of pneumatic products. And this was how we started working with Festo. Since then we have been working with Festo pneumatic products. Most of the pneumatic products are used on our automated jigs. The are specially designed and manufactured to be used for fully automated welding of components for the automotive industry.

Our customers profit from it, and we get the organisational advantage. For a start, the Festo pneumatic products are fully integrated with our processes. The amount of errors made is negligible because our employees are very familiar with the product. Secondly, we profit from their excellent logistical infrastructure. Pneumatic products ordered today are delivered by the next day. This is a great advantage.
Thirdly, we make use of much of the training and service backup facilities available at Festo. These can also be used by our customers.
Finally, many of our customers are already using the same types of pneumatic products. The Festo brand is already well-known among many of our customers, which adds greatly to the confidence in our jigs. Automated welding machines can easily cost over €2m.
