AWL shines at both the BIEMH and the Lasys.

BIEHM
The 26th Spanish Machine-tool Biennial was held in Bilbao, Spain from May 31st until June 5th. More than 35,000 people visited the BIEMH, making it a very successful exhibition despite the ongoing worldwide crisis.

The exhibition was also a great success for AWL. With the introduction of the new corporate video and a clear focus on welding machines and equipment, it was clear that AWL had touched an interesting nerve with the visitors. AWL develops state-of-the-art automated welding machines, most of them based on proven building blocks. Making our machines stable and reliable. With almost 50 years experiences in the arc-, resistance and laser welding we are the reliable partner for welding solutions.

During the exhibition AWL met with existing customers and further strengthened relationships, but we also gained some very interesting new contacts in both the automotive and the general sheet metal industry.

LASYS
As laser welding starts where conventional welding techniques end, its use can really set you apart from the rest. AWL is the first system integrator to break new ground by attending the Lasys, a trade fair for system solutions in laser material processing. At the Lasys, where suppliers of laser components hold a dominant position, we promoted our laser-beam switch management, system integration and our turnkey solutions.

The demo for the beam switch management was set up together with Precitec and ABB Robotics. The two ABB robots with mounted Precitec welding optics use only one laser source which switches from one robot to the other. This successful innovation is an excellent alternative to the Remote overhead system and the remote scanner optic, which are also mounted on a robot.

Surrounded by our partner suppliers, AWL had a good arena to talk in-depth with customers about the different systems that can be integrated, which, together with AWL’s turnkey delivery, makes it possible for us to offer a solid market proposition.

AWL is the specialist manufacturer in state-of-the-art automated welding machines. We supply machines that meet the highest demands for quality and which guarantee considerable improvements to your productivity.

We look forward to strengthening our relationship and discussing your further possibilities in laser welding. If you want to contact AWL directly, please call Ralf Daggers, Marketing Manager, on 31(0)341 411 811.
